Incheon International Airport
インチョンにてトランジット。アシアナを使ったけれど、食事もおいしくて快適。
I transfered at Incheon International Airport. At that time, I used Asiana Airline, which turned out to be very comfortable, especially meals was good.
9月にとった夏休み。ロンドンと、コンウォールドライブ。 In a summer vacation I could take in September, I went to London and drove around the Cornwall.

テートモダン。設計は言うまでもなくヘルツォーク＆ド・ムーロン。逆光のためうまく撮れず。
Tate modern, designed by Herzog & De Meuron. I took this against the light and couldn't make it though.
もともとは発電所だったことを偲ばせるタービンホール。
This museum used to be a power plant, whose turbine hall has been renovated into this gigantic hall of the exhibition space.
タービンホールでルイーズ・ブルジョワの「ママン」が迎える。
In this Turbine hall was located Louise Bourgeois's "Maman," welcoming us.
再開発で有名なドックランド。地下鉄の駅は近未来風。
Docklans, western part of London, is famous for its redevelopment. This underground station looked modern.
大英博物館内のグレート・コート。設計はノーマン・フォスター。

ロンドン・アイより。ブリティッシュ・エアウェイズがスポンサーなので乗り込むとき飛行機みたいなインストラクションがあって面白い。

Because British Airways sponsored this, there were many instructions related to kind of airline things when we "got on board," which was amazing.
ルノーのメガーヌ借りてドライブ開始。いい車だこれ。
We rented Renaut Megane, and started driving, heading for Cornwall. This Megane was pretty good.
ダートムーア。シャーロック・ホームズ「バスカヴィル家の犬」の舞台になったという。
This Dartmoor was supposed to be the stage of Sherlock Holmes's "The hound of the Baskerville"
ところどころ、石垣が残ってる。遺跡もたくさんあった。（時間があまりなくて見られず）
Here and there, such stone walls remained. There also remained many ruins, unfortunately we didn't have so much time to visit though.
両側にヘッジと言われる垣根が続く。みんなけっこう飛ばすから、運転はけっこうたいへん。
There went continually hedges along both sides, where everyone drove so fast that we were needed to be skillful for driving.
あのドームの中に生態系をつくっているそうだ。迷ってしまい、到着が遅くて中には入れなかった。
I heard they created an whole ecosystem in that domes. We wanted to enter, but we lost our way and finaly arrived too late to enter.
旅ではいつも水族館に行く事にしている。
I make sure that wherever I go, I drop on an aquarium if they have.
ソールズベリーの大聖堂。街のどこからでも見える。とても立派。
I could see this spire from almost anywhere in Salisbury, which I felt was beautiful.
ジョン・コンスタブルもこんな風景を見ていたのだろうか。
I wonder John Constable would have looked such bucolic landscape.
