2003年の夏休み。あわてて計画したのでちょっと行き当たりばったり。今度はノルウェーにも行きたい。 I went to Finland and Sweden in 2003 summer vacation. I hastened to arrange my itinerary, which should have been considered much more. Anyway, now I wanna go Norway someday.

This Academic Bookshop was designed by Alvar Aalto. The top sunlight was beautiful.
テンペリアウキオ教会。岩盤をくりぬいたユニークな構造。内部はとても美しかった。スオマライネン兄弟設計。
This Temppeliaukio Church was embeded in a large rock, kind of bedrock. Interior was so beautiful. Designed by Timo & Tuomo Suomalainen.
スティーブン・ホールによる美術館。エントランスホールからゆったりとのびるスロープが美しい。
Museum of contemporary art Kiasma was designed by Steven Hall. The gentle slope in the entrance hall leds us up to the exhibition room.
ヌークシオ国立公園。ヘルシンキから電車で３０分ほど。
This Nuuksio national Park is located in 30 minutes train ride from Helsinki.

ヘルシンキとストックホルムを結ぶフェリー、シリアラインとバイキングライン。今回はシリアラインを選んだ。
There are two services connecting from Helsinki to Stockholm, which are Silya line and Viking line. At that time, I chose Silya line.

This is main promenade in the Silya Symphony, where people could enjoy shopping.
ストックホルム旧市街の一番狭い通り。
They said this was the narrowest street in the old city of Stockholm.
1628年に沈没したヴァーサ号を引き揚げて展示している美術館（というか博物館！？）。意外に面白かった。この時代の軍艦をなかなか詳しく見る事なんてそうないから。
This museum exhibited The Vasa, which sank just after maiden voyage had begun around Stockholm in 1628. I enjoyed that than I had expected, because I hadn't ever had an opportunity to look at battle ship before.
